The purpose of this site is to provide another method of communication between Magee families and the Magee Health Office. You will find important information related to common health concerns in the school setting, contact information for the school nurse as well as valuable links for accurate medical information.  Click on any green highlighted words, like my email address below, to find the link to important forms and other programs.


Please click on Notes from Nurse Kathy or look under the MORE tab to find the Notes section.  You will find updated  information about health office procedures, including changes related to COVID-19, for this year.

Do you have a student with special health needs or concerns?  Are you having new or different problems related to the pandemic or distance learning?  Please contact us so we can address your concerns.  You can also click on the  Health Problems tab for commonly used forms and helpful resources.

Finally, does your student have all of their required immunizations?  Do you have questions about them? Check out the info under the Immunizations tab above or call the Health Office.

ATTENDANCE
  Attendance is essential to school success, but too often we all miss how quickly absences (both excused and unexcused) can lead to academic trouble.  Chronic absence is defined as missing 10% of the school year or just 2-3 days each month!  Chronic absence can lead to third graders unable to master reading, sixth graders failing classes and ninth graders dropping out of school.  Want to help your student do well in school?  Work with us to make sure your student is in school every day!
